There are lots to consider when you are shooting a personal branding Photoshoot for a client.
Here are 5 tips that I’d like to share with you to create a successful Personal Branding Photoshoot!
You want these photos to be a representation of your clients, their brand and their brand messaging. While everyone has their own methods, I can definitely give you some insider tips for how to make sure your personal branding photo shoot is a smashing success.
1 | Change Perspectives- Move around and shoot overhead/ shoot through/ utilize foreground & background to create depth and dimention.
2 | Photograph landscape & portrait compositions- give clients variety to use on their website and for their marketing materials.
3 | Shoot wide & with negative space in mind
That way it’s easier for clients to use images for their square crop marketing, for cropping in for profile image and for creating marketing materials, flyers using the negative space you had left.
4 | Shoot flat lays
They provide visual interests that are relevant to the business and not a generic stock photo. Great way to up-sell, pull clients towards bigger packages or offer more for more.
5 | Use colors that work with the client’s branding/ logo, color themes, create a mood board for them, help them bring the right clothes & accessories. It helps elevate branding and creates a cohesive feel.
