There is an “Exist in photos” revolution going on among portrait photographers out there. I am proud to be part of it!
I can’t stress the importance of being in photographs enough! If not for yourself, for those who love you.
With that message in mind this beauty session was my gift to a very special person in my family’s life.
Meet Ms. M.
She’s not only the nicest lady you’ll ever meet but she happens to be the most caring & most devoted pre-school teacher for the past 30 years! Her special love of children and dedication to teaching has effected hundreds of families, including mine.
A few months ago we found out that she was facing a very challenging illness and she suddenly had to close her home-school down for good. Everybody who knows her knew how devastating it must had been to make that decision!
So in order to cheer her up and help her face this “next” chapter of her life with confidence I wanted to give her a very special beauty session as a thank you for all she has done for all the children throughout the years!
I wanted this day to be all about her, her day of pampering and celebrating her relationship with her wonderful husband!
She was very excited to do the shoot and she came well prepared. She brought some great gowns and pretty dresses; some she hasn’t worn in years (one of them we had to bring back to the XXI century by removing its shoulder pads:). Tammy, my talented hair and make up artist, took extra special care of her. But I think the happiest moment was when her husband walked through the door ready to be photographed! Supposedly that took some extra convincing the night before but I am so glad he came! The love those two have for each other is so very special and the shoot would not have been the same without him!
Dear Ms. M- Your optimism and cheerful attitude during the hardest times continue to inspire me and many others! Thank you for giving your ALL to our kids throughout these past 30 years; now it’s time to think of nobody else but YOU for a change and take those trips you have always wanted to take:) Enjoy these images! You are a very special beautiful woman, who is ready to conquer any challenges that comes her way!
