The Genre of Boudoir is a specialty, just like Newborn & Wedding Photography. Hiring someone with a camera, or a photographer who is used to photographing models, to capture images of you in your most vulnerable state can result in the opposite of an empowering experience. I’m confident that it could become more damaging to your self confidence in the end. So I suggest you choose someone reputable, and not with just someone with a camera. Safety FIRST!

MALE OR FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHER

Both Male or Female photographers, assuming they are true professional, can bring out a different side of you! It really depends on your taste and comfort level… it doesn’t need a lot of explanation.

It’s really up to what you connect with!

VALUE & QUALITY

There are premier Boudoir Photographers and ones who are more budget friendly. It is up to you what you value or the risks you are willing to take. Would you rather choose a photographer, who just started learning the ins and outs of posing, lighting, retouching, or someone who will get to know you, help you prepare, ease your nerves and be your guide every step of the way during your shoot? Would you rather get a gallery filled with mediocre (at best) images to download or walk away with a gorgeous custom designed album filled with the most empowering images you have ever seen of yourself?
